Supported Living

Supported Living means an individual, or group of people, can live within owner occupied accomodation or a secure tenancy agreed home where support is provided. This could be for a few hours, overnight, or 24 hours a day. The support is carefully planned to meet the needs of the individuals and is delivered in the way that they want. By providing complete care and support for the individuals involved we promote their independence and well-being.

Community Support

These are usually short visits within the service users’ home and are for those people who already live a more independent lifestyle who may require some additional support with:

  • Personal care i.e. bathing, showering or shaving
  • Domestic chores i.e. housework or shopping
  • Financial assistance with collecting or claiming benefits, the setting up or paying of utility bills or help correspondence
  • Witnessing or administering medication
  • Making and accompanying people to medical appointments
  • Accessing community activities
  • Companionship / Emotional Support
